We are a group of volunteers located across the state of Nebraska who care for injured and orphaned wildlife native to Nebraska. We always need help with animal care, transport and donations of things like dog and cat food for the animals. We get animals like: cottontail rabbits, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, songbirds, waterfowl, turtles, bats, etc.

We have meetings every month in Lincoln at Grace Lutheran Church at 2225 Washington St. (7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month.)

Spring and summer are the busiest times for our volunteers, but we do get animals year round. Feel free to attend our next meeting and viist with some members. Learn more about WRT and we can get you signed up so you can help with animals come Spring!
