Victim Impact Panels (VIPs) allow victims/survivors an opportunity to heal by sharing their personal stories of bereavement, injuries, and loss with an audience of participants.  Victim Impact Panel Volunteers play an important part in helping to reduce future victimizations through coordinating, presenting, and/or helping with VIPs, which educate participants to the hazards of substance impaired driving and motivate participants to make responsible decisions about drinking and driving in the future.

Skills/Training Requirements: background check, completion of MADD orientation, good organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, non-judgmental attitude when working with people convicted of alcohol-related offenses, reliable transportation, and flexible schedule as most panels are held in the evenings.

Victim Impact Panels are held in the following cities: Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney, La Vista, Scottsbluff, Norfolk, Columbus
