Our mission – championing the arts, connecting people, changing lives – illustrates the purpose of our work in Lincoln. We know that a community that offers rich arts opportunities for all is worth striving for and that is what we are doing. We rely on strong partnerships with organizations and individuals and invite you to be a part of our collective efforts.

Championing the arts, connecting people, changing lives. Started in 1968, Lincoln's official arts agency since 2006. A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to quality arts experiences to residents and visitors of all ages. We serve as a "home base" for local arts agencies, hosting Quarterly Arts Round Table meetings. Coordinate arts education outreach, "Art Makes Me SmART" programming placing local teaching artists in limited resource public schools, community centers and the Lancaster County Youth Services Center. Organize the Mayor's Arts Awards (since 1978) and the Lincoln Arts Festival (since 2001). The 17th Lincoln Arts Festival is Sept 30 and Oct 1, 2017 during which we welcome nearly 100 visual artists from across the country to our outdoor, juried arts show. Volunteers are needed for set up, gate staff, artist hospitality and booth sitting, etc.
