Merryman Performing Arts Center
Contact Info:
The Robert M. Merryman Performing Arts Center is unique. It is the only community performing arts center to be located in an active elementary school. The original building was built in 1926 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Ron and Carol Cope Grand Lobby, the Reception Hall and the Scott D. Morris Family Theatre echo the architectural design.
Our purpose is to offer quality dance, music, and theatre performances, as well as educational events and workshops that will culturally reward audiences and participants.
Our goal is to become an engine of creativity for area youth and a place of enjoyment and “affirmation” for the community.
An endowment has been created for the Merryman Performing Arts Center to foster continuing support for this beautiful performing arts venue. Please consider how you may make a lasting contribution for generations to come.
- Make an annual tax-deductible contribution to the Merryman Endowment
- Include the Merryman in your Estate plan
- Honor a friend, family member, or special person with a named seat in the auditorium
